Education: College/CEGEP. Work site environment: Search and rescue. Police dog/canine services. Work setting: Kennel. Dog training school. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Establish or implement policies and procedures for staff. Plan and control budget and inventory. Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies. Hire, train and supervise staff. Address customers' complaints or concerns. May work in a team with shared supervisory responsibilities. Supervise staff. Supervise other hair stylists and other staff. Perform general farm duties. Perform administrative tasks. Oversee development of communication strategies. Organise day-to-day business operations. Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures. Work with a guard dog. Perform animal grooming activities . Monitor animal behaviour. Supervision: 11-15 people. Dog training expertise: Tracking and discrimination. Protection work. Obstacle agility. Canine behaviour problems/modification. Obedience.
