Education: College/CEGEP. Work setting: Installation. Tasks: Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Fit and join sheet metal parts. Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification. Type of heavy equipment operated: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Specialization or experience: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Screening questions: Are you available for the advertised start date?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?.
