*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee welding operations, ensuring quality and efficiency in the fabrication process. *Responsibilities* - Supervise and coordinate welding activities within the workshop - Read and interpret blueprints to plan welding projects - Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques - Operate and maintain welding equipment such as Press brake machines - Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to complete welding tasks - Inspect finished products for quality assurance - Train and mentor junior welders on proper techniques - Coordinate with other departments to ensure project deadlines are met *Qualifications* - Proven experience in welding, fabrication, and assembly - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings - Ability to operate a crane, forklift, and other machinery as needed - Strong knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Prior experience in supervisory roles is a plus - must hve strong organizational skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 ? 50 per week Experience: * Welding: 8 years (required) * Supervising: 3 years (required) Language: * English (required) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-09-25- LocationWest St. Paul, MB
