We are currently seeking a *Business Development Officer (BDO)* to focus directly on the *Philippines *student markets respectively for Canada. As well as supporting the HTI Philippines team with training and partner liaison, the roles also require a strategic mindset to work with HTI leadership in formulating an onshore Canadian market strategy to attract and recruit students from these markets who are Canada via the Toronto office. *Duties:*
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
· Support the HTI in the specific country offices via training on key partner institutions, marketing and promotional strategic planning and liaison between the country offices and the Toronto team and its institutional clients.
· Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the company?s international partners? processes, procedures and products;
· Generate sales strategies to create opportunities at local and overseas level.
· Monitor and report on industry developments, including national and international competition analysis related to the Philippines market;
· Creating and maintaining relationships with new and existing institutions and Recruitment Channel Partners both nationally and internationally;
· Maintain and develop accurate and regular reports in order to analyse the sales and revenue figures, as well as identify opportunities and potential risks in the market;
· Develop and execute business strategies for senior management.
· Liaise with the Hti marketing teams to generate targeted marketing strategies for both online and offline campaigns.
*Candidate Requirements:*
The ideal candidate must have the following:
· Be able to commence work with immediate effect once the position is offered and accepted;
· Fluency in both spoken and written English, as well as *Tagalog*
· Have a strong background in Canadian International Educational and associated understanding of the Canadian education system and how it relates to the international student experience.
· Proven experience and knowledge of the international education market in Southeast Asia with strong links back to the designated markets of hilippines via contacts and a network within the local Southeast Asia education agent network.
· Ability to work in other SE Asian markets to support Hti business and our partner institutions.
· Have a deep understanding of and contacts with the broader Southeast Asian community in Canada.
· A tertiary qualification at Bachelor?s Degree level;
· Minimum one-year recent (within last five years) experience in student advising or recruitment.
· Proven experience in sales and business development in the international education industry;
· Ability to work in a high energy and intensity environment either on their own or collaboratively as part of a team.
· Accounting and Report creation skills, including XL, PowerPoint and Word.
· Drive and ambition to succeed.
· Ability to set and work to targets.
Extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
