We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager to expand our industry partnerships, secure job leads, and place candidates in rewarding positions.
*Responsibilities*:
· Identify and establish relationships with key industries related to the courses offered at Maritime Business College (e.g., IT, healthcare, accounting, etc.).
· Generate job vacancies and internship opportunities by building a network of industry contacts.
· Understand and execute end-to-end recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates in positions.
· Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and tailor recruiting strategies accordingly.
· Place students and external candidates into roles that match their qualifications and career goals.
· Actively explore new industries to expand placement opportunities beyond Maritime Business College courses.
· Conduct frequent visits to partner companies and potential clients to build and strengthen professional relationships.
· Provide exceptional client service by ensuring candidates meet client requirements and expectations.
· Maintain and report on the effectiveness of placements, ensuring a pipeline of ongoing job opportunities.
· Work onsite and visit clients as needed for business development.
*Requirements*:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, recruitment, or sales, preferably in a similar field.
· Deep understanding of the end-to-end recruiting process, including candidate sourcing, assessment, and placement.
· Strong understanding of the local job market and industry needs.
· Excellent communication and networking skills.
· Ability to travel for frequent client visits.
· Experience with lead generation and client relationship management.
· Ability to work independently and meet targets.
· Knowledge of the education sector or student recruitment is a plus.
*Preferred Qualifications*:
· Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
· Prior experience in student placements or staffing agency roles.
