Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Landscape contractor. Various locations. Landscape maintenance. Tasks: Assist with landscape constructions. Tie and secure plants. Weed, prune and trim trees and plants. Cut grass. Rake and collect refuse. Remove litter and garbage. Cart and spread topsoil and other materials. Lay sod or seed. Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees. Apply fertilizers. Write daily basic progress reports. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : First Aid Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Chain saw. Forklift. Gravel or dump truck. Roto-tiller. Small engine equipment. Weed trimmer/edger. Area of work experience: Snow removal. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
