Job details
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques
- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally

- Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management
- Must be willing to ?pitch-in? and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player
- Knowledge of sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals
- Certified in WHMIS, WSIB.
- Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, Housekeeping Operations methods, practices, and techniques
- Ability to supervise employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Strong training, coaching, and mentoring skills are essential
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
- Knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, Inventory and budgeting techniques is an asset
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift 25lb, reach and move continuously to inspect rooms on all floors of the hotel.
- Able to effectively communicate in English - both verbally and in writing
