Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted. Repair cracks and holes. Mix paint to desired colour and texture. Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes. Apply primers and repaint surfaces. Equipment and machinery experience: Brush painting. Conventional spray painting. Roller painting. Coating/application specialization: Paint spraying. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding.
