*Your Opportunity:*
We are excited to invite a passionate Vegetation Ecologist to join our growing team. In this role, you will apply your expertise in plant identification, interpreting edaphic conditions and ecosystem restoration across various projects. From habitat restoration to environmental assessments, your work will help protect and restore ecosystems across British Columbia.
*What We?re Looking For:*
* *Education & Certification:* You hold a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in environmental sciences, biology, ecology, or a related field, and you?re a Registered Professional Biologist (R.P.Bio.) or eligible for registration in British Columbia.
* *Experience:* You have at least 5 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on ecological assessments, vegetation mapping, or restoration ecology.
* *Skills:* You?re proficient in Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping (TEM), Biogeoclimatic Ecosystem Classification (BEC), and can confidently use GIS software like ArcMap or ArcPro.
* *Team Player:* You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and believe in the value of continuous learning and improvement.
* *Organization:* You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage your time and projects effectively.
*What You?ll Do:*
* Lead and contribute to vegetation assessments, rare plant surveys, environmental baseline studies and restoration projects.
* Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality ecological assessments and restoration plans.
* Apply your knowledge of vegetation ecology to a variety of fieldwork and mapping projects, including Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping (TEM) and wetland assessments.
* Provide ecological input and guidance for projects that focus on habitat restoration, biodiversity conservation, and environmental permitting.

* A competitive salary range of $67,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
