*Construction Manager*
RareBuilt Homes Ltd. is an award winning Calgary based home builder. RareBuilt received the 2022 BILD Calgary Region, Multi Family Small Volume Builder of the Year award and was a 2023 BILD Alberta Pinnacle Small Volume Builder of the Year Finalist. RareBuilt has been building custom homes in the Calgary area for nearly two decades. Building off the quality of our custom builds, we have expanded our reach into land development and high-end multi-family projects. Our company takes great pride in the homes we build, and this carries through to all facets of how the company operates.
As a result of some key land acquisitions and future development projects, we?re growing our team in all departments and looking to add some key people to the operations team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, focused and seasoned CONSTRUCTION MANAGER to join our team. We are not looking for someone to stay in the same, static role for the next 5 years, we are looking for someone that is willing to take the opportunity to learn, develop and progress upwards in the company.
*WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING*
* Act as primary liaison with clients, designers, sub-trades and other project stakeholders
* Manage your builds to create, maintain and execute project plan, schedule and ensure compliance with budget
* Update and maintain live project schedules and daily logs on Buildertrend software.
* Manage trades and procurement of materials and equipment
* Build constructive and effective working relationships with both internal and external team members, including direct reports
* Ensure timely management and coordination of change orders, purchase orders, etc. to ensure projects run smoothly
* Promote positive safety culture on work sites inline with the RareBuilt Health and Safety Program.
* Lead weekly internal progress and performance meetings
* Demonstrate growing leadership skills with an ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others
* Perform some hands-on tasks as required on the project to ensure projects are completed on time
*REQUIRED SKILLS*
* Minimum 10+ years experience in a leadership role, working in single-family and/or multi-family construction.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Knowledge of Builder Trend (or other builder software) experience an asset
* Knowledge of Acumatica an asset
*WHAT WE?RE OFFERING*
* Full-time, permanent position
* Schedule is Monday-Friday, and weekends as needed
* $100,000-$110,000/year Salary
