In this position you are expected to identify procurement needs, evaluate suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. You will be responsible for preparing reports and assisting in all aspects of office procedures as well as assisting in sales.
*Responsibilities:*
* Support management with procurement, sourcing, and contracting of materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
* Provides general administrative support to the general manager and staff.
* Ensuring outstanding service by creating a welcoming environment for customers, vendors and staff.
* Implements department procedures and realizes department goals.
* Handles the day-to-day activities of the business.
* Ensures competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
* Maintains complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
* Prepares reports.
* Set up cost effective vendor shipments using approved couriers/freight forwarder.
* Schedules supplier visits, conducts competitor survey execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
* Supports relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of cost calculation and projects.
* Coordinates with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
* Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Answer telephone in a courteous manner and direct calls.
* Assist in sales and entering sales orders.
* Following up on quotes and orders.
*Qualifications:*

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
* Establish ability to maintain record keeping.
* Must have minimum 2 to 3 years experience.
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
