Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Interior. Tasks: Prepare engineering designs and drawings. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Develop and prepare design sketches. Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates. Prepare contracts and tenders. Write technical reports. Write specifications. Estimate costs and materials. Complete documentation packages and drawing sets. Examine drawings for conformity and errors. Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements. Leading/instructing groups. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AutoCAD Certification. SOLIDWORKS Certification. Steel detailing Certification. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. MS Office. MS Windows. Area of work experience: Fabrication. Specialization or experience: 3D Modeling. Area of specialization: Drafting. Buildings and structures. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available.
