Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Hot. Work setting: Mines and quarries. Remote location. Rural area. Industrial plant. Construction site. Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Read blueprints to determine work requirements . Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Provincial/Territorial Asbestos Hazards Certification. Types of systems: Plumbing, cold water and drain lines. Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional. Residential. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you available for the advertised start date?.
