Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Clean bar area and wash glassware. Hire and dismiss staff. Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff. Collect cash, credit/debit cards or other payment for beverages. Order bar stock and maintain inventory and control of bar stock. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations. Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) . Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
