Job details
Centaur Products, Canada's most accomplished *Sport Contracting Specialist*, is looking to grow again by adding a *Project Coordinator* to our Ontario/Atlantic Team. We are looking for a highly organized, energetic individual with great communication skills, an understanding of general construction processes, and an excitement for supporting our customers in Professional Venues, Colleges and Universities, and K-12 Schools. A successful candidate will have a post secondary degree or certificate in construction or administration. This position is based in our Guelph, Ontario office and will report directly to our Project Manager in that office.
The Centaur team works collaboratively to support each other. We will provide industry specific training for the right candidate.
*Responsibilities* include:
- A willingness to *learn* about our products and act as a *problem solver* for key stakeholders.
- Administration and management of multiple construction projects from preliminary contract review to closeout submittal.
- *Communicating* with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors both in person and using MS platform software tools (Office365, TEAMs, etc)
- *Collaborating* with our internal departments (sales, accounting, project management and construction) to coordinate purchasing, freight logistics, construction scheduling and project closeout to exceed our customer's expectations.
- Reviewing, interpreting and producing construction drawings is required for this position so candidates must be skilled at operation of *AutoCAD*
- *Travel* to and from sites to meet and discuss project scopes with key stakeholders will be required.
- Team sport experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Strong *time management *skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
