Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Cold/refrigerated. Work setting: Staff accommodation available. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Welding experience. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Perform repair work on heavy trucks. Service attachments and working tools. Verify and repair emission control systems. Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization: Off-road vehicle tires and wheels. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Drug test. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Reliability.
