Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. Dusty. Work setting: Various locations. Residential. Tasks: Build pallets. Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Direct traffic at or near construction sites. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Equipment and machinery experience: Drills. Air guns. Nail guns. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs). Personal suitability: Team player. Organized. Flexibility. Experience: Will train.
