Seeking a veterinary technician assistant to work in a high-paced general practice and emergency veterinary clinic. Responsibilities: - Assisting with handling/restraining of animals for exams & procedures. - Work with the team to keep the clinic clean & organized. - Walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes & feeding and watering animals. - Properly positioning & handling animals for x-rays, ultrasounds, blood draws, IV catheter placement etc. - Restocking supplies & putting supplies orders away. Requirements: - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners - Ability to work a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation in the evenings (3pm-1am). Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Are you able to work a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation in the evenings?
