Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Drive lighter, special purpose trucks. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform preventive maintenance. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Medical exam. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Large workload. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Sitting. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Organized. Team player. Hardworking. Patience. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
