This role requires leading, developing and managing a team of Vice President, Relationship Managers, Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to help grow TDAM's footprintDevelops and shares ongoing industry-wide best practices around sales, marketing, portfolio construction and business developmentWorks collaboratively with OneTD partners to maximize distribution effectiveness and provide a seamless client experienceStays current on markets, regulations and industry changesDevelops strong Centers of Influence within the industryProvides input on the development of annual sales targets, performance criteria, reward and recognition programs, compensation programs and key performance indicatorsActs as primary escalation point for significant sales matters and exceptionsEnhances the TDBG brand by participating in networking eventsActively refers to other business partners both within Wealth and across TDUpholds and ensures team are knowledgeable of corporate and industry sales practicesSkills & Experience RequiredUniversity degreePreference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI)10+ years of industry sales experience In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management industriesStrong interest in capital markets, portfolio construction and business developmentExcels in a sales environmentEffective presentation and communication skills #LI-WealthWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
