Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. Interpret electrical code specifications. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Transportation/travel information: Travel expenses paid by employer. Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Ability to distinguish between colours. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
