Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Advise clients on beauty care treatments. Analyze hair and scalp condition. Book appointments. Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences. Provide custom hair and scalp treatment. Shampoo customers' hair. Shave and trim beards and mustaches. Supervise other hair stylists and other staff. Supervise apprentices/students in training. Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences. Perform receptionist duties. Maintain and order supplies. Provide customer service. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Barber Licence. Hair styling techniques: Blow drying. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Own vehicle. Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability.
