*Elevator Mechanic - New Equipment Division* We?re Alliance Elevator Inc., a growing company in the elevator installation, maintenance and service sector working with clients across Ontario. We pride ourselves on quality as well as a close knit team working together to troubleshoot, develop and grow together and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. We are currently hiring for an experienced *Elevator Mechanic* to join our team. Who Are You? * *Team Player ? *you are hardworking, intuitive, know your stuff and you?re willing to engage your team members on the job to grow their skills by sharing your knowledge * *Critical Thinker ? *Methodically and strategically approaching problems and tasks and making quick decisions to solve challenges * *Problem Solver ?* The ability to notice problems and the root causes early, produce a plan to correct the issue found. Efficient use of time and resources to implement the pre thought out plan * *Detail Oriented ? *The ability to spot details at close and far range, noticing settings, operations, and site conditions that are different than the norm and adjust accordingly * *Confident Troubleshooter* ? Determining root causes of operating errors and device failures, reasoning a corrective action and implementing a plan to accomplish the goal Qualifications * EDMA/ EDMT ? Elevating Devices Mechanic ? Class A or T * Experience working in new installations, maintenance and modernization * Post secondary education with an electrical or mechanical base is an asset * Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code (OEC) * Valid G Class Driver?s License with clean driving record * Must be available, able and willing to participate in rotating On Call Schedule Why Us? * You?ll be a part of growing, dynamic, close knit team environment where you will make incredible impact within the company * Opportunity to grow within the organization * Flexible schedules and awesome customers! Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship Pay: $28.00-$55.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company car * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift Experience: * Elevator Service: 1 year (preferred) * Elevator Installation: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * EDMT / EDMA Certificate (required) * Class G Licence (required) Work Location: On the road- LocationWindsor, ON
