Responsibilities
Tasks

Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems

Authorize the development of specifications for products or services

Meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems

Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs

Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer

Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions

Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts

Participate in the redesign of applications and other software

Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties

Communicate the business and technical benefits of the analytic solution to both business and technical audiences
