Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Hot. Tasks: Budding trees. Clean the crops. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas. Deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening . Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Harvest seedlings. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Operate climate controls. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Seed cutting. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Write daily basic progress reports. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Assist in grafting activities. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Are you willing to relocate for this position?. Experience: Will train. Other benefits: Free parking available.
