*About Inquiring Little Minds:*
Inquiring Little Minds has been providing childcare services in British Columbia for the past 12 years, since 2011. We are hoping to expand, by opening more centres in other parts of our community and province. Our centres provide a warm and nurturing environment, with focus on providing reliable, trustworthy and respectful services to meet the needs of the families and children in our communities that require childcare.
ILM facilities are dedicated to the provision of safe, well-managed childcare services for children that are provided by full and part-time, qualified staff. ILM's goal is to stimulate emotional growth, independent growth, intellectual growth, physical growth, and social growth amongst its charges. We follow curriculum based programs exposing children to age appropriate developmental practice.
*About the Role: Administrative Assistant*
We are looking for a responsible *Administrative Assistant* to perform various administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be an independent thinker. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting with daily office needs, and managing our company?s general administrative activities.
As an administrative assistant, you play a vital role in the enrolment and admissions of students to each childcare center. You handle every stage of enrolment management from being the point of contact for prospective families to orientation and start of new students.
*Duties and responsibilities:*
* Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries from parents and families.
* Create, compile and export files containing all information for each new student.
* Help to plan center events.
* Assist with Brightwheel - our communication platform.
* Process end-of-month reports and distribute new month's paperwork.
* Process and file student files.
* Answer potential families? questions about facility and amenities.
* Maintain and evaluate audiovisual equipment.
*Qualifications:*
* Proficient computer skills, Google Suite, Adobe.
* Possesses phone etiquette.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent problem solving and prioritizing skills.
* Reliable and punctual.
