Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.</p><p>We are looking for a Receiving and Shipping Supervisor for our customer in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. <br> <br>Responsibilities : <br> <br>- Supervise a team of 20 employees <br>- Plan, organize, coordinate and control logistics activities while respecting quality, manpower, costs and deadlines; <br>- Ensure the quality of products and services provided by the various carriers. - Participate actively with the dispatch team in identifying transportation solutions; <br>- Ensure clear verbal and written communications with the various stakeholders; <br>- Approve departmental hours worked; <br>- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and policies, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment; <br>- Responsible for equipment used by the shipping/receiving department (maintenance and follow-up); <br>- Evaluate, communicate and follow up on employee performance; <br>- Organize and facilitate employee meetings and inform staff of policies, procedures and programs in effect; <br>- Ensure accurate product inventory; <br>- Develop a logical inventory storage system;</p><p>Qualifications : <br> <br>- Minimum 5 years experience in inventory, distribution, operational procedures and personnel management; <br>- Bilingualism; <br>- Knowledge of MS office suite and ERP <br>- Results-oriented; <br>- Proven leadership skills: rallies the team to achieve a common goal; <br>- Good management of priorities; <br>- Organized/structured: able to multi-task and work independently and responsibly;</p>- LocationSaint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC
