Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Other miscellaneous animal farming. Other miscellaneous crop farming. Outdoors. Hot. Wet/damp. Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Tasks: Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Maintain work records and logs. Perform general farm duties. Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system. Supervision: 3-4 people. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Automated honey extractor. Apiary management. Harvesting honey. Honey farm. Security and safety: Basic security clearance. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Large workload. Hand-eye co-ordination. Overtime required. Sitting.
