<p><b>Job Summary</b><b></b></p><p>Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Operations Planner creates and manages the medium and long term production plan while managing plant capacity. Responsibilities include maintaining the required business and system parameters in the SAP setup environment for the accurate and timely preparation of plant capacity projections and various analyses. This person assists the Senior Demand Planner team in collaborating with customers on upcoming deliveries. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for working closely with the short-term planning team and purchasing to ensure a continuous flow of operations throughout the planning horizon.</p><p><b>Operations Planner Responsibilities</b></p><p>· Schedules the use of production materials to ensure optimal production levels.</p><p>· Evaluates suppliers for quality, lead times and suitability against objectives.</p><p>· Monitors the flow of material supply and identifies potential shortages or bottlenecks in usage.</p><p>· Identifies and resolves inventory issues (shortage management).</p><p>· Anticipates market challenges based on competitor analysis and industry trends.</p><p>· Addresses quality and production.</p><p>· Produces reports based on production results and performance.</p><p>· Manages operations planning and purchasing of components and raw materials.</p><p></p><p><b>Requirements</b><b></b></p><p>o Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with an excellent academic record (or equivalent).</p><p>o Experience 1 to 2 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, distribution or any other similar field.</p><p>o The candidate must have excellent knowledge of Excel VBA</p><p>o Power BI</p><p>o SAP is an asset.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job type:</strong> Full-time, Permanent</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> Up to $85,000.00 per an</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Disability Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Corporate Events</li><li>Flexible Check-In/Check-Out Times</li><li>Discounted or Free Food</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Pension Plan</li><li>On-Site Parking</li></ul><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>Monday through Friday</li><li>Day Shift</li><li>End of week</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Pre-screening question(s):</strong></p><ul><li>Do you have a good command of or have you ever used the SAP system?</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree (Required)</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Power BI: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>VBA: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Language:</strong></p><ul><li>French (Required)</li></ul>
