La version française suit TIA Rehabilitation Group is looking for a *Physiotherapy Assistant / Occupational Therapy Assistant* to join our team in the east end of Ottawa. We are hiring a full-time position in a Long Term Care Home. As part of the physio department the PTA/OTAs are responsible for providing one-on-one treatments to our residents and reporting back to the supervising physiotherapist. Daily tasks include: * One-on-one exercises as prescribed by the physiotherapist * Leading group exercise classes * Attending meeting with interdisciplinary team * Charting residents' progress Required skills: * Proficiency in english, spoken and written * Friendly and professional demeanor * Ability to engage with seniors * Strong observation skills and adaptability * Basic computer skills Experience in Long Term Care is an asset. OTA/PTA or Kin diploma preferred. Candidates must be able to perform the physical aspects of the job. Accommodations are available for all aspects of the selection process.
