*Job Overview* We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short or long distances while operating a commercial vehicle. *Responsibilities* - Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to and from specified locations - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment - Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times - Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure proper maintenance - Maintain accurate driving logs and reports *Experience* - Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred - Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus - Ability to operate heavy equipment is beneficial - Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous - Familiarity with freight handling procedures Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $28.11-$29.73 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: * Commercial driving: 5 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Class 1 Licence (required) Location: * Edmonton, AB (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationEdmonton, AB
