<p>Position: MS Learning Assistant<p>Employment Type: 1.0 FTE <p>Start Date - September 3, 2024 <p>Salary Range: $28, 808 - $37, 960 <p> <p><p> <p>Unity Christian School, located in the picturesque city of Chilliwack, British Columbia, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Assistant for the 2024 - 2025 school year. As an integral member of our Educational Support Services team, you will play a crucial role in fostering a Christ-centered, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for our students. <p><p><p>The successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the learning of students in Grades 6-8 by being an additional support in classes like Math and English Language Arts. The position involves working 1:1 or in small groups, as well as circulating in the classroom to help as needed. Typically, this person would be in different classes for a few blocks a week. There would be some record keeping involved and intentional connection with each teacher. The successful candidate would need to have a working understanding of Grade 6-8 Math and English, and be able to develop a good rapport with this age group. <p><p><p> We are looking for a growth minded, energetic, team-oriented, and self-motivated individual that can join our Educational Support Services team.
