*Overview*
Houdini Locksmith is seeking skilled Locksmiths to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and training in the areas of Automotive, Residential, and Commercial locksmithing. Successful candidates will be comfortable with; installing, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining locks and security systems; cutting and programming car keys when all keys are lost; unlocking vehicles; rebuilding and repairing ignitions; and general locksmithing tasks.

*Responsibilities*
- Promptly respond to call outs for locksmithing services
- Provide customers with accurate ETAs and arrive on time
- Maintain clear and prompt communication with dispatch on the status of callouts
- Install and repair locks, deadbolts, and other locks and security devices
- Cut and program new or duplicate car keys using key-cutting and transponder programming machines
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning locks
- Create master key systems for buildings
- Respond to emergency lockout situations
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Other related services and tasks to be performed as needed by the company
*Skills*
- Proficiency in using locksmith tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of different types of locks and security systems
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge and proficiency in automotive locksmithing is highly desirable
*Requirements*
- Full Locksmith License is desired. Candidates who hold a Locksmith Under Supervision license will also be considered
- Full driver's license and clean driving record is mandatory
- Must have access to your own work vehicle, and must be willing to commute across the Lower Mainland to attend callouts. (ie. Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Coquitlam, etc.)
- Tools can be supplied, if needed
- Training can be arranged, if needed. However, preference will be given to candidates with ample experience and no need for training
- Must have a cell phone with a good phone plan and reliable reception
*About the Role:*
Houdini Locksmith is growing! We have seen exceptional growth over the last year and we are in need of additional team members to help take on more work! This is a mobile locksmith role, and you will be spending your shift on the road attending callouts. We service various cities across the Lower Mainland. This mainly includes Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, and Coquitlam. We occasionally attend call outs in Surrey, Delta and Richmond.
To start, shifts will be flexible. We are asking for a part time commitment of a minimum of 30 hours per week to start. We offer high compensation rates. Apply to learn more!
