Westrans is looking to expand their operations with the addition of a dedicated Warehouse Receiver. To be successful as a Warehouse Receiver, you will demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the position, by being dependable, accountable and honest. The successful applicant will be responsible for the detailed receiving, inventorying and storing of shipments within the parts warehouse. *Responsibilities:* - Comparing purchase orders with packing lists - Obtaining freight charges on rush orders - Verifying/Receiving/inspecting and signing for shipment and courier deliveries - Operation of material handling equipment - Other duties as assigned that pertain to the overall functionality of the receiving department *Requirements:* - Punctual and dependable - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Attention to detail ? accurately identify and handle parts, descriptions and quantities - Ability to get certified on power equipment - Time management with the ability to prioritize - Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations - Physical Stamina ? able to lift heavy items for extended periods of time - Computer skills, knowledge of data entry, and inventory software programs - Organizational and time management skills - Collaborate and provide excellent service to internal and external customers Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * No weekends Work Location: In person- LocationWinnipeg, MB
