Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Professionalism in customer service. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform preventive maintenance. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
