*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and/or apprentice who is a dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of powersport vehicles. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards. *Duties* * Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. * Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble and disassemble vehicle parts. * Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles. * Communicate with customers regarding repair needs and provide clear explanations of services rendered. * Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. *Skills* * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex automotive issues. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Experience with welding techniques is a plus. * Ability to read and interpret schematics for vehicle systems. * Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. * Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
