*Job Summary* We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. * Accurately process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. * Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. * Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. * Keep track of inventory levels and report discrepancies as necessary. * Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling. *Qualifications* * Strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience. * Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members. * Familiarity with technical sales concepts is a plus. * A commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times.
