\*Job Summary\* We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. \*Duties\* - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes - Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment - Assist customers in selecting beverages based on their preferences - Handle cash transactions using a POS system - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of products - Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns \*Qualifications\* - Previous experience in the food industry or customer service is preferred - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures - Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions - Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting - Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor - Familiarity with POS systems is a plus - Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Additional pay: * Overtime pay * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-10-20- LocationAmherstburg, ON
