On the shipping side, they package items, label parts, and weigh parts. As receiving clerks, they are responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received, inspecting for damaged goods and, once approved, distributing merchandise to inventory.</p><p>Hours of Work: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday), 7:00AM to 11:00AM (Fridays) - 40 Hours Per Week</p><p>What will you be doing:</p><ul><li>Receive information from the Supervisor on what must be completed for that day.</li><li>Receives merchandise - checks and signs delivery slips, and assists with unloading as necessary</li><li>Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods</li><li>Accepts or returns merchandise according to established company procedures.</li><li>Organizes distribution and shipping of merchandise. Makes necessary verifications against documents, unpacks and routes goods to appropriate storage areas. Handles customer pick-ups.</li><li>Maintains internal record-keeping systems</li><li>Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions.</li><li>Takes inventory, maintains storage area, organizes, and places stock on shelves. Ensures area is secure at all times.</li><li>Responsible for the tidiness of your designated area (ensuring no product left on the shop floor) and putting everything away into racks or Stores.</li><li>Work and assist other employees in improving safety.</li><li>Note any problems to the Plant Manager or Supervisor that will affect the safety of other employees, the production due dates or the quality of every manufactured product.</li><li>Fill out all shipping paperwork accurately and deliver to appropriate departments in a timely manner.</li><li>File purchase requisitions.</li><li>Receive and check incoming products against packing slips, MTR?s, or letter of compliance to Quality Assurance.</li><li>Perform any other tasks required to better the company.</li><li>Fill in daily timesheets.</li><li>Follow Cambridge Pro Fab?s rules and regulations, including health and safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Abide by the OHSA and other federal and provincial regulations.</li><li>Wear approved personal protective equipment (PPE) such as eye protection and foot protection.</li><li>Maintaining the required level of quality.</li><li>Work and assist other employees in continuously improving safety and production demands and quality.</li><li>Responsible for all receiving of goods.</li><li>Performs routine cycle counts on products.</li><li>Use of overhead cranes, forklift, ladders, and other equipment.</li></ul> <br> <p>What you bring to Cambridge Pro Fab Inc</p><ul><li>3+ years shippin
