Job details
Operator is responsible for using forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials. Shift: Monday - Thursday from 3:30 PM - 2 AM Friday - Sunday from 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Duties and responsibilities * Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility * Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility * Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions * Checking loads are secure * Stacking empty pallets * Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck?s battery and lubricating equipment * Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines * Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards * Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage * Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area * Assist in physical inventories * Ensure proper stock rotation * Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards Skills * Safety Techniques * Follows instruction well * Communication * Customer Service * Basic Mathematics * Organization * Physical Dexterity * Alertness Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 10 hour shift * 12 hour shift * Every Weekend * Monday to Friday * Night shift Experience: * Forklift: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Forklift Licence (required) Work Location: In person- LocationBelleville, ON
