*JOB SUMMARY*
A motivated and customer-focused external Residential HVAC Salesperson. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a passion for providing exceptional service to clients. As the Residential HVAC Salesperson, you will be responsible for generating leads, conducting sales presentations, and guiding clients through selecting HVAC systems and services tailored to their needs.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals to identify potential residential HVAC sales opportunities.
* Conduct in-depth consultations with prospective clients to understand their heating, cooling, and indoor air quality needs.
* Perform detailed assessments of residential properties to determine the most suitable HVAC solutions, considering factors such as size, layout, and energy efficiency requirements.
* Present and explain HVAC products, services, and pricing options to clients, addressing any questions or concerns and providing recommendations based on their specific needs and budget.
* Prepare accurate and comprehensive sales proposals tailored to each client?s requirements, including equipment specifications, cost estimates, and financing options.
* Follow up with clients to answer additional questions, address concerns, and negotiate terms to close sales and secure contracts.
* Collaborate with installation teams and technicians to ensure seamless project execution, providing support and assistance as needed throughout the installation process.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to effectively position our products and services in the market.
* Track and report sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management using CRM software or other tracking tools.
* Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond, fostering long-term relationships and promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Continuous skill development, product, and technical training online and off-site as required.
*Responsibilities*
* Engage with customers through various channels to understand their residential needs and preferences.
* Provide detailed information about products and services, ensuring customers are well-informed.
* Utilize effective phone etiquette to maintain a professional demeanor during all customer interactions.
* Analyze customer feedback and sales data to identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company database.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
* Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide the best solutions for customers.
*Skills and Abilities:*
* Prior experience in customer service roles.
* Basic understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.
* Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Leadership abilities with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
* Ability to deal with changing priorities daily.
* Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales goals, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
