R. Robson School for the remainder 2024-2025 school year. <p>Specific position details: Start Date: As soon as possible<p> End Date: June 27, 2025<p> Location: J.R. Robson School, Vermilion, Alberta Subject Areas: Grade 7-12 Physical Education and/or <p> Health and CTS courses<p> Please note: The final assignment will be dependent on the successful candidate's strengths and training <p> T he successful candidate will possess the following: <p> Experience teaching secondary physical education<p> Experience teaching CTS courses, Health, and other general secondary courses<p> Possess a strong background in organizing tournaments and managing sports teams is an asset<p> Possess or be willing to obtain a Class 2 drivers license and S Endorsement<p> Willing to obtain certification to support the physical education program (Eg. Paddle Canada Intro Moving Water Instructor Certification)<p> A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate<p> Shall be a dynamic student-centered educator committed to maximizing learning in a safe and caring environment<p> Experience and/or training in the application of Assessment for Learning strategies, embedded formative assessment, and varied summative assessments is essential<p> Possess a strong background in the use of technology to enhance student learning<p> Ability to create a positive learning environment and foster positive professional relationships with students<p> Is dependable with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting<p> Demonstrates a strong commitment to professional growth and continually increasing their effectiveness as an educator<p> A willingness to participate in extracurricular activities would be considered an assetStudents come first at J.R.
