*Job Overview* *Ski Lift operators - * *Duties & Responsibilities* * Load and unload guests safely on and off lifts * Ensure all safety precautions are followed and inform Supervisor of any conditions that may affect the safety of our guests or fellow employees * Check lift tickets and passes for validations and proper location * Maintain accurate Lift Log and Stop Log * Maintain an orderly and fair flow through corral and maze system * Maximize uphill capacity * Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed * Responsible for snow maintenance * Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area * Work as a team, job share * Be friendly, courteous, and informative to all guests (front line employee) * Be present, in uniform and punctual on scheduled days with a packed lunch * Deal with complaints in a pleasant manner and know when to call upon lift supervisor for assistance * Recognize incidents that require documentation ? fill out appropriate paperwork correctly * Read and understand company policies and procedures * Other duties assigned *Physical & Time Requirements* * Day Shift Hours, Friday ,Saturday & Sundays 8:00 am ? 4:30 pm ? 4:45 pm depending on snow maintenance * Follow lunch, washroom and break procedures as directed * Work outdoors, sometimes in extreme weather conditions * Ability to push/pull * Physically fit to shovel snow * Lift up to 40 lbs, assisted lifts with anything over 40 lbs * Ability to stand for long periods of time outside while working loading area * Stability to walk on uneven surfaces and icy conditions * Ability to ascend/descend a ladder and comfortable working from heights * Peripheral vision * Communicate, converse with and exchange accurate information with guests and fellow employees in a polite and professional manner We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and relocate products within our facility. This role is essential to maintaining efficient operations and ensuring the safe transport of goods. *Responsibilities* * Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. * Load and unload materials from trucks and containers. * Move products to designated areas in the warehouse or storage facility. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning. * Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking the movement of materials. * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. * Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks. * Assist in training new employees on forklift operation and safety procedures. *Requirements* * Proven experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. * Excellent communication skills, including public speaking abilities for team briefings. * Customer service experience is a plus, particularly in hospitality or food service settings. * Experience working with children or in guest services can be beneficial for specific roles within our organization. * Must possess a valid forklift operator certification or be willing to obtain one upon hiring.
