We are seeking an experienced Welder with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in welding and metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, and will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable materials. The role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures, blueprint reading, and quality control to ensure the highest standards are met. _*Key Responsibilities:*_ ? Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding based on job specifications. ? Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding procedures. ? Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment. ? Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify flaws and ensure structural integrity. ? Fabricate metal structures and components per design requirements. ? Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards. ? Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production timelines. ? Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions. _*Qualifications:*_ ? Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. ? Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. ? Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. ? Strong knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures. ? Familiarity with various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. ? Experience with welding tools, machines, and power hand tools. ? AWS certification (preferred but not required). ? Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. ? Ability to work independently and in a team environment. _*Physical Requirements*__:_ ? Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. ? Ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, and kneeling. ? Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to heat, noise, and fumes. *Benefits:* Moving allowance for those seeking work in Alberta.
