*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Counterbalance Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating counterbalance forklifts to efficiently move, locate, and stack products within our distribution center. *Responsibilities* * Operate counterbalance forklifts to transport materials and products safely throughout the warehouse. * Perform order picking tasks using warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory control. * Load and unload goods from delivery trucks and storage areas while maintaining proper safety standards. * Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs. * Assist with heavy lifting and moving of products as required, ensuring safe handling practices are followed. * Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain a clean work environment. * Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts and order accuracy checks. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in warehouse distribution or as an order picker is preferred. * Proficient in operating forklifts, particularly counterbalance models; clamp truck experience is a plus. * Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory is advantageous. * Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods during shifts. * Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.
