The Coordinator fosters self-sustaining and thriving communities for the Métis population while effectively communicating and disseminating both internal and external resources to communities and citizens. By establishing respectful and trusting ties with Chartered Community leadership, the Coordinator endeavors to enhance collaboration between communities and MNBC. This involves strategic collaboration with the Director and Manager to tailor Community Services' support for each community's unique strengths and needs. Taking a consultative approach, the Coordinator gathers data to comprehend community requirements on an individual basis. Regular community visits, alongside other MNBC ministries, ensure holistic engagement, prioritize relationships, and pinpoint essential resources to promote self-reliant communities. Collaborating with MNBC Ministries, the Coordinator gains comprehensive knowledge of the organization's offerings and crafts a unified approach to information sharing. Facilitating capacity-building in MNBC Chartered Communities, the role involves researching and disseminating information regarding funding opportunities. The Coordinator also contributes to planning and attending regional community meetings, aids in program development, monitors grant-related documentation, and produces progress reports.
