*Job Overview*
The applicant would assist with various aspects of our day-to-day works. Most specifically, AutoCAD Civil 3D design works. Additional experience in surveying and installation review (Inspection) services would be an asset.
*Specific Responsibilities*
* Prepare engineering drawings for land development and municipal projects.
* Site inspection.
* Project management and contract administration.
* Topographical surveying.
* Oversee the construction of works and services including the preparation of engineering servicing agreements, construction documentation, field inspections, cost estimates.
* Prepare formal reports, memos, and documents. Provide reporting of work progress and issue construction memos to contractors as needed.
* Coordinate with utility agency requirements for permits within public rights-of-way, utility easements, etc.
*Qualifications*
* Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
* Construction work experience.
* Ability to prepare, read, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents and experience interpreting and providing recommendations on professional reports, review of designs, COSA and CRSD bylaws and technical specifications.
* Experience with the review and acceptance of development applications, third party utilities, and engineering utility reviews.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Strong time management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and civil software models (water/storm/sanitary).
* Proficiency with computer and typical office software programs (MS Office).
* Class 5 BC Driver?s License and the use of a reliable personal vehicle.

· Full-time.
· Hourly wage - $28.00 - $50.00 ? linked to work experience.
