Responsibilities
Tasks

Generate maps and related graphs and charts

Plan map content, format and design and compile required data from aerial photographs, survey notes, records, reports and other maps

Maintain and manage digital database

Maintain equipment and instruments

Process data to conduct basic analyses of trends

Write specifications and technical reports

Apply quality control procedure

Participate in field checks and verification

Inspect final compositions

Analyze and interpret weather data

Maintain climatological databases

Observe, record and transmit atmospheric and weather information

Operate analog or digital airborne remote sensing equipment to prepare images, data and graphic reports, maps and charts
