General automotive and truck repair facility in Stratford is looking for an experienced and skilled full time Licensed Automotive Technician. *Requirements* : * Diagnostic Skills * Remains current with up-to-date knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repair of most domestic and imported vehicles by attending training courses paid for by Pro-North. * *Valid 310S* and *Ontario Driver?s License* with clean driving record * Experience with alignments is an asset but not necessary. * Maintains a safe and clean, productive and efficient work area. *Responsibilities* : * Be punctual and have the ability to work in a team environment that provides assistance and support to co-workers to achieve common goals * Maintain high quality of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction * Review work orders, follow checklists and accurately report findings to service advisors * Effective written and oral communication skills. * Provide advisors with necessary parts and labour estimates * Recommend additional repairs as required * Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems * Records time spent, parts used, and repairs and/or maintenance conducted on appropriate internal forms. * Road test vehicle after repairs are complete to ensure repairs are done properly Required hours are *8:00 am to 5:00 pm*, *Monday to Friday*. *NO WEEKENDS! *In house benefit plan to be discussed at time of interview.
