*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental hygiene services, educating patients on oral health practices, and supporting the overall mission of our practice. This is a part time position Monday to Wednesday and evening are required. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. * Assess and record patients' medical histories, including any relevant medical terminology. * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Assist in the application of preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments. * Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients, including those requiring orthodontics or pediatric care. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. * Provide exceptional customer service to create a welcoming environment for all patients. * Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities. *Qualifications* * Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with knowledge of medical terminology being a plus. * Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is advantageous. * Previous experience in dental assisting is beneficial but not required. * Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental software systems is desirable. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations. * Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service and patient care.
